Landing Page Design & Optimization

Turn More Ad Clicks Into Customers, Leads, and Sales

I build and improve landing pages that give visitors a clear reason to act, whether that means requesting a quote, booking a call, or making a purchase. From the headline and proof to the form, booking, or checkout flow, every section supports the next step.

Where Is Your Landing Page Losing People?

You're sending campaign traffic to a general website

Visitors arrive from a specific ad, then have to search through your site to find the offer. I build a focused destination that carries the campaign message through to an inquiry or booking.

You're getting visitors, but too few inquiries or sales

The offer may be unclear, the page may leave questions unanswered, or the form or checkout may be getting in the way. I review the experience and measurement before recommending what to change.

Your current page needs improvement

You already have a landing page and want to make it work harder. I assess what can be kept, where the experience needs attention, and whether targeted changes or a new build make the most sense.

See How the Landing Experience Fit Into a 1031 Campaign Rebuild

For a financial advisory lead-generation program, I improved the landing experience and lead form alongside the campaign messaging. I connected the inquiry process with CRM follow-up and a clear path to calendar booking.

The case study shows how these pieces worked together. It describes a broader acquisition-system rebuild, so the overall results should not be attributed to the landing page alone.

For a local furniture retailer, I built evergreen landing pages focused on store visits and dedicated landing pages for major sales, so promotional traffic reached a page built for that offer instead of the main website.

What I Build and Improve

Offer strategy and page copy

I clarify who the page is for, what you're offering, and why someone should respond. The headline, benefits, objections, and call to action work toward the same next step.

Page design and mobile experience

I organize the content so visitors can understand the offer, find relevant proof, and act without unnecessary effort. The design follows your brand and adapts to mobile and desktop screens.

Campaign and message alignment

I review the ad or traffic source that brings people to the page. Someone responding to a specific service, event, or promotion should find that same promise clearly explained when they arrive.

Forms, booking, and checkout flows

I build the agreed inquiry, booking, or purchase experience, including links to your existing checkout or payment platform when needed. I design it around the information your team needs. That includes clear labels, useful confirmation messages, and a logical next step after submission.

Conversion tracking and lead handoff

I define the actions to measure and test where submissions go. That can include form submissions, bookings, and purchases where your platform supports it. Your proposal specifies the tracking setup and any CRM connection needed so each lead or order reaches the right place.

Existing-page reviews and optimization

I examine the current content, layout, technical behavior, and available performance data. Improvements can include clearer copy, stronger proof, a simpler form, or a better booking path. Further testing depends on the traffic and data available.

The proposal defines the page, copy, implementation, tracking, integrations, and revision scope. Ad management, CRM nurture sequences, additional software costs, and ongoing optimization are specified separately when needed. If this is part of an existing advertising engagement, we'll identify what's already included before adding work.

A Clear Process, With One Point of Contact

  1. Step 1

Understand the Offer and the Visitor

We discuss the campaign, the people it reaches, and what makes a useful inquiry. I review your existing page, brand assets, and available customer proof before planning the content.

    1
  2. Step 2

Map the Page and Write the Message

I organize the offer, benefits, objections, evidence, and next action into a clear page structure. We identify the images and information needed to support the message.

    2
  3. Step 3

    Build and Check the Experience

I implement the agreed page and check its layout, form or calendar, confirmation experience, tracking, and lead destination. You review the work before launch.

    3
  4. Step 4

Review What Visitors and Leads Tell Us

Once traffic arrives, we can look at conversion activity and the quality of the inquiries. Further changes or testing follow the agreed scope and the amount of meaningful data available.

Landing Page Design for Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Nationwide Businesses

For a local service business, the page needs to explain what you do, where you work, and why someone should contact you. I help businesses in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the Twin Cities turn those details into a focused campaign experience.

I also work with clients nationwide, adapting the page to the offer, market, and sales process. Your location doesn't change the goal: make the next step clear for the right visitor.

Measure the Inquiry and What Happens Next

A landing page can make it easier to respond, but the campaign audience, offer, and sales follow-up also affect the outcome. I look at the available evidence across five stages:

  1. 1

Page visits: People who reach the page from the campaign.

  2. 2

Completed actions: Submitted forms, bookings, purchases, or other agreed conversion actions.

  3. 3

Qualified leads and orders: Inquiries that match your agreed criteria, or completed orders.

  4. 4

Booked appointments: Prospects who complete the scheduling step.

  5. 5

Customers: Sales we can evaluate when dependable records and attribution are available.

Where the data allows, we can compare conversion rate, cost per qualified lead, and booking outcomes. A button click is not a completed inquiry. When several campaign elements change at once, the results cannot tell us how much improvement came from the landing page alone.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

A website introduces your business across multiple services and pages. If you need the complete site, see my full website design service. A campaign landing page focuses on one offer and one main action, such as requesting a quote or booking a call. The right choice depends on what the visitor needs to understand before responding.

Yes. I'll review the content, layout, conversion experience, and available data. We may keep the page and make targeted changes, or recommend a rebuild if the current setup limits what we can improve. Implementation depends on access to your platform.

Yes. The project can cover strategy, page copy, design, and implementation. Your proposal defines those deliverables, the platform, and any assets or specialist work needed. We'll identify what you need to provide before starting.

Yes. I plan the page around the offer and the context in which someone clicks. A page for a specific Google search may need a different opening message or conversion approach from one supporting a Facebook or Instagram campaign.

The landing-page proposal specifies the lead destination, any CRM integration, and any nurture work needed. A standalone page project does not automatically include an ongoing nurture program. If you're working with me on Meta Ads management, CRM lead nurture is included in that service, and the page can connect with that workflow.

Yes. When the goal is a purchase, deposit, registration, or store visit, I structure the page around the offer, the questions buyers ask before committing, and a simple path to complete the action. Checkout or payment tools are connected through the platform you use, and the proposal specifies that setup.

Pricing depends on whether we're improving an existing page or building a new one, as well as the copy, design, tracking, and integrations required. I'll provide a clear scope and quote before you commit, including any separate platform or software costs.

Not every page has enough traffic for a useful split test. I start with the available data and obvious usability or measurement issues. Where traffic supports a meaningful comparison, testing can be included in an ongoing scope with a defined question and success measure.

We can prepare an indexable page with appropriate metadata and useful content when organic discovery is part of the brief. A campaign-specific page may serve a different purpose. We'll agree on the indexing approach rather than assume every paid campaign page should target organic search. Rankings cannot be guaranteed.
